Access was blocked to at least 31 X accounts on the grounds of protecting national security and public order. The Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD) said the blocked accounts included those of journalist-writer Akın Olgun, former Boğaziçi University faculty member Prof. Dr. Tuna Tuğcu and economic commentator Ayhan Dadaloğlu. X made most of the accounts unavailable in Türkiye.
