Istanbul 5th Criminal Judgeship of Peace imposed an access ban on T24’s news article titled “A first in history; IBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu detained with 106 people!”. The decision was taken as part of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office against İmamoğlu on charges of “corruption” and “terrorism”. The Information and Communication Technologies Authority stated that the decision was made in accordance with Law No. 5651 and must be implemented within 4 hours.
