Despite the court decree for his re-employment, academic Barış Işık was not re-employed at Eskişehir Anadolu University Faculty of Law with another court decree. The decree was annulled by Eskişehir 2nd Administrative Court and ruled for the academic’s re-employment.
Despite the judicial decree, the university administration did not renew his contract with the claim that “the plaintiff’s service is not needed”.
Işık was expelled on the grounds that he was a member of the fictional organization called the “masonic fetocist marxist front” after a press statement he attended regarding the attack against lawyer Heval Yıldız’s office with a gun in 2018. Eskişehir 1st Administrative Court issued a stay of execution for this decision.
