The 12th hearing in the trial of journalist Abdurrahman Gök on charges of “membership in an organization” and “making propaganda for an organization” was held at Diyarbakır 5th High Criminal Court. The charges were based on Gök’s professional activities and statements by informant Ümit Akbıyık. Gök requested acquittal and completion of deficiencies in the case file. The court decided to inquire about the status of the file before the Court of Cassation and adjourned the hearing until 17 December.
