Kurdish and Arabic-language television channels, which were banned from access, are now broadcasting on mobile platforms via the MyFlix TV app. Medya Haber, Sterk TV and other alternative media outlets can now be watched on Android and iOS-based devices with live broadcasts and program archives. The channels see this as a strategic move to reach young viewers and protect freedom of the press. The app can be downloaded for free.
