The Mardin Governor’s Office has banned all demonstrations and events in open areas throughout the province for five days. In a statement issued by the Governor’s Office, it was stated that activities such as gatherings, marches, press statements, sit-ins, rallies, setting up stands, and putting up posters and banners were included in the ban. It was stated that the decision was taken on the grounds of protecting public order and security.
