As part of the “FETÖ” investigation conducted by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, 52 tax inspectors were arrested on February 16, 2026. The prosecutor’s office conducting the investigation detained the inspectors on allegations of links to the organization and referred them to court. The court issued arrest warrants for the suspects.
