Forty-one of the 42 people detained at the TİP event in Kadıköy Yoğurtçu Park were released after spending the night at Vatan Security Directorate. Among those released were journalist İrfan Değirmenci, social media phenomenon Bekir Aslan (Basel), TİP Istanbul Provincial Executive Ali Çoban and Party Assembly Member Ilgaz Özer. In a statement on its X account, TİP thanked the public for the solidarity shown after the detentions.
