The indictment prepared against People’s Democratic Party (HDP) former Diyarbakır MP Sibel Yiğitalp due to the funerals, press statements and rallies she participated in as well as her speeches at the rallies was accepted by Diyarbakır 5th Assize Court. The former MP was charged with “illegal organization membership,” “making illegal organization propaganda,” “participating in illegal meetings and demonstrations,” “public incitement towards resentment and hostility” with an imprisonment claim for up to 26 years.
