The Edirne Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into FETÖ’s current student structure. Operations were carried out in Edirne, Istanbul, Bursa, Çanakkale, and Bilecik based on communication intercepts and a MASAK report. Twelve suspects, including students and graduates of Trakya University, were taken into custody. The suspects brought to Edirne underwent health checks. Proceedings initiated on charges of “membership in an armed terrorist organization” are ongoing.
