Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) penalized TV series, “9-1-1,” for three times with broadcast blackout on FOX Life Channel due to “inappropriate visuals of an elderly male couple.” RTÜK claimed that “the series presents homosexual relationships as normal and ordinary, therefore is against the national and moral values of the nation as well as general morality and the principle of protection of the family.”
