The investigation on the deaths of university student Mahsun Karaoğlan and Mustafa Dağ is under the threat of impunity. Karaoğlan and Dağ had lost their lives during the police intervention against the group, who wanted to celebrate the birthday of Abdullah Öcalan on April 4, 2009 in Ömerli district of Halfeti. Even though the autopsy reports identified that both deaths have occurred through firearms, there was no development in the investigation conducted by Bilecik Public Prosecutor’s Office.
