Istanbul 35th Assize Court ordered the release of Attorney Taner Kılıç, Chair of Amnesty Turkey, issued an arrest warrant for him again before 24 hours passed after the first decision.
Kılıç’s file was added to the indictment as a suspect issued on October 2017 against 10 right defenders detained in Büyükada, was joined with Büyükada case on October 25, 2017. The prosecutor objected to release order given at the last hearing yesterday and Kılıç was detained before he is released from the prison.
The court ruled Kılıç to be pending trial in custody.
