Journalist Hüseyin Aykol, who was sentenced to 3 years and nine months of imprisonment due to Co-Editing-In-Chief of Özgür Gündem Daily, was detained in his home in Ankara in the afternoon for the execution of his sentence. Aykol has been convicted by Istanbul 13th Assize Court due to “making illegal organisation propaganda” on November 29, 2018 and his sentence was approved by the appeal court.
