The Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an “embezzlement” investigation into managers of the S.S. Köroğlu Local Products Production and Marketing Cooperative operating under Bolu Municipality and companies that did business with the cooperative. Gendarmerie detained nine people in an operation carried out as part of the investigation and searched the suspects’ homes and workplaces. Those detained included Boltartek General Manager Bahadır Acar and cooperative board chair Cevat Çatladı.
