Access was blocked to news reports that JMW Jant, a subsidiary of Jantsa, in which Aydın Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu’s husband Ercan Çerçioğlu is a shareholder, had been selected as a supplier for TOGG’s new vehicle program. The decision was taken under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651 on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order.”
