The Justice and Interior ministries announced that operations were launched against 968 suspects in all 81 provinces ahead of the anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt. Chief public prosecutors’ offices and police and gendarmerie units accused the suspects of links to FETÖ’s current and covert structures. The largest numbers of suspects were reported in Ankara, Izmir and Istanbul.
