Two disciplinary investigations were launched against Dr. Hacı Yusuf Eryazğan, chair of Branch No. 3 of the Unity and Solidarity Union, over social media posts he made about problems in family medicine. The investigations, carried out on allegations that he denigrated the Ministry of Health and the Ankara Provincial Health Directorate, sought the penalty of halting his career advancement. Eryazğan said the investigations aimed to silence critics of the health system and suppress union activities.
