As part of an investigation by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office into bid-rigging involving Egeşehir Construction Planning Consulting and Technology Inc., the gendarmerie detained three individuals on May 20. During the operation, the gendarmerie detained Süleyman E. along with two construction company officials, Salih E. and Muzaffer Ö. The prosecutor’s office also issued an arrest warrant for Hüseyin S., the General Manager of İZBETON.
