At least three people were detained following the “Take a Step for Peace” march organized in Kadıköy under the leadership of the DEM Party. During the march, participants called for the release of political prisoners, an end to the appointment of trustees, and the guarantee of the right to use one’s mother tongue. Police intervened in response to some of the slogans chanted during the march.
