Journalist Yelis Ayaz was arrested over a report alleging that the son of AKP Aydın MP Seda Sarıbaş had brought a gun to school. The prosecutor’s office stated that the report did not reflect the truth and launched an investigation into Ayaz on charges of “publicly disseminating misleading information.”
