In Eskişehir, as part of International Women’s Day on March 8, women gathered at the Espark Bağlar Gate and marched to the site of the former Migros store in Adalar. Throughout the march, the women chanted slogans such as “Femicides are political,” “You will never walk alone,” and “We will not be servants to the family or slaves to capital.” During the march, one person verbally intervened regarding the banner the women were carrying, which read “Jin Jiyan Azadî.” While the women responded to the intervention with slogans, the march and press statement concluded without incident.
