Access to the “Presidential Candidate Office” account on the X platform belonging to Ekrem İmamoğlu, the CHP’s imprisoned presidential candidate, has been blocked.
The decision was announced by the Freedom of Expression Association’s EngelliWeb account. The statement indicated that the account was blocked on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order” and that the decision had been communicated to internet service providers.
Imamoğlu’s personal X account had also been blocked previously for the same reason.
