T24 reporter Asuman Aranca did not attend the third hearing of the lawsuit against her for her “expert report” on the murder of Sinan Ateş. Istanbul 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance accepted the excuse and scheduled the hearing for October 21 at 11:55 am. In the previous hearing, the prosecutor had repeated his demand for punishment for “violation of confidentiality”; Aranca had asked for more time to make the main defense together with her lawyer. The court ordered Aranca to be present at the next hearing via SEGBİS from Ankara.
