Cemal Özer was arrested for attacking Kurdish seasonal agricultural workers from Siverek district of Urfa to Bor district of Niğde with a gun. Orhan İdilkurt was seriously wounded in the attack. Detained Özer was sent to prison after the prosecutor’s office procedures. It is learned that Ahmet Halisdemir, the mayor of Çukurkuyu town of MHP, tried to intervene in the minutes of the incident, claiming that the attack was not with a real gun but with blanks.
