Tension broke out at the funeral of former MP Cemalettin Kaflı in Gebze district of Kocaeli. Journalist Enes T. was taken to hospital by ambulance claiming that he was beaten by former IYI Party executive Tekin Y. Enes T. said that he was severely insulted near the funeral vehicle and hit his head with a hard object several times and filed a complaint. Tekin Y., on the other hand, admitted the incident and claimed that the argument stemmed from a commercial dispute in the past and had nothing to do with politics.
