The 12th Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation overturned the acquittal verdict against the person who shared the name, surname, registration number and signature of a public official on social media without hiding them. The decision stated that this action constituted the offense of “unlawfully giving or obtaining personal data”. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years and 1 month in prison for the minutes he shared on Facebook.
