Bitlis Governorate has issued another protest ban throughout the city for 15 days. The reason for the decree was the protection of “national security, public order” as well as measures against the Coronavirus pandemic. Until March 8, any protest to be organized in the city was made subject to civil administration permission, provided that the notice is made at least forty-eight hours beforehand.
