Journalist Güngör Arslan, owner and editor-in-chief of Kocaeli Ses Daily, was attacked in his office and lost his life. The journalist, who has been the target of attacks before as well and was prosecuted for his articles, wrote in his recent articles about the allegations regarding a dubious tender opened by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality and the detainment of Migros workers, who resisted for their rights.
