Rapper Ufuk Yıkılmaz, known with his alias “Şehinşah”, was detained due to “insulting the President.” Announcing his detainment on Twitter, Yıkılmaz wrote, “I was detained at the airport as I was heading home, due to insulting the President. I am in jail once again… I can’t keep track of them, there are so many files, I get rid of one and another appears. Please wish me patience.” In a tweet posted the next day, Yıkılmaz announced that he was released.
