The Middle East Technical University (METU) fired 8 graduate students, who were students’ assistants, due to “budget cuts.” Republican People’s Party (CHP) Parliament member Levent Gök stated that the students were strictly warned due to participating in the solidarity protests with Boğaziçi University.
