Two Middle East Technical University (METU) students were detained over distributing leaflets to support the protest of Boğaziçi University students. The METU students had decided to voice the demand, “We don’t want an appointed/trustee rector” through turning their apartment lights on and off at 21:30. Distributing leaflets to announce the protest, the METU students were followed by police vehicles for a long time. Afterwards, they were detained by the security office.
