The report prepared by Council of Europe Human Rights Commissioner Dunja Mijatović after her observations in Turkey between July 1-5, 2019 was launched. The report includes the latest developments in the Gezi Park Case and on Osman Kavala as well.
The report, dated February 19, 2020, consists of two sections, “The Justice System and the Protection of Human Rights in the Judiciary” and “Human Rights Advocates and the Civil Society” covering topics like judicial independence, the criminal justice system, judicial reforms as well as the suppression of the civil society and human rights advocates.
