The police intervened against Trendyol workers, members of the Postal, Telephone and Telecommunication Workers Union (PTT Sen) and the Warehouse, Port, Shipyard and Marine Workers Union (DGD Sen), who were dismissed for being unionised and staged a sit-in protest in front of the company’s headquarters in Istanbul. 15 workers, including union executives, were beaten and detained.
