AdkoTurk workers, who were fired from work due to organising at the Tek Gıda Professional Union, as well as Bel Karper workers, who were on strike for 130 days, wanted to meet the Tekirdağ Governor. Afterwards, they were beaten and detained by the police in front of the Governorate building. Suat Karlıkaya from the Tekgıda Labour Union announced that more than 100 workers were detained.
