The first hearing of the lawsuit filed against six women, who protested male violence in Kadıköy, Istanbul on December 8, 2019 with the ‘Las Tesis’ dance, was held at Istanbul Anatolian 29th Criminal Court of First Instance. The lawsuit was filed with the allegation of “violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911” and Ayşen Kavas, Fidan Ataselim, Nisa Kör, Seda Elhan Barbaros, Sevda Yeniköylü and Yaprak Okatalı from the Women’s Murders Platform (KDCP) are on trial. The second hearing will be held on February 23, 2021.
