Two separate summaries were prepared against People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır MP Saliha Aydeniz due to “making illegal organization propaganda.” The MP is charged due to her social media posts and participating in the press meeting organized by HDP Group Deputy Chairwoman Fatma Kurtulan in October 2018 due to her reaction against the operations against HDP members. A lawsuit was previously filed against Aydeniz with an imprisonment claim for up to 30 years due to “establishing and managing an illegal organization.”
