Veysi Yokuş and Emrah Katırcı were taken into custody on June 16 following an incident between police and citizens in the Bismil district of Diyarbakır. It was alleged that the two men were beaten following an argument with police officers who had come to Yokuş’s home. The two men were taken to the Bismil District Police Headquarters.
