Following a protest held in Istanbul’s Saraçhane district to mark the anniversary of Ekrem İmamoğlu’s arrest, 35 people were taken into custody. Thirty-one were released by police, while four were referred to the prosecutor’s office. The court ordered the detention of 2 individuals and placed 2 others under judicial supervision. Those detained face charges of “insulting the president” and “resisting the performance of official duties.”
