7 people who were detained in Avcılar and Beşiktaş municipalities within the scope of the operation against CHP were referred to Istanbul Courthouse after their procedures at the police.
2 of the suspects were arrested due to “bid rigging” while 5 people were released on judicial control conditions.
Within the scope of the operation, 5 officials from Beşiktaş Municipality and 2 officials from Avcılar Municipality were detained. The detainees are accused of carrying out activities within the scope of the “Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization”.
Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat and Avcılar Mayor Utku Caner Çaykara were arrested and suspended from their duties in the same investigations.
