Cypriot academic Senih Çavuşoğlu was denied entry into Turkey at Antalya Airport on April 26. Authorities refused to allow Çavuşoğlu to enter under the “N-82” restriction code. Çavuşoğlu stated that he had learned the ban was imposed in 2020 and argued that the decision was politically motivated.
