Marmara University Faculty of Theology Department of Interpretation member and Karar Daily writer Prof. Dr Mustafa Öztürk resigned from his position at the university. Öztürk was previously targeted by the Directorate of Religious Affairs due to his writings and speeches, and was lately the addressee of the “dismissal campaign” conducted on social media due to his latest statements and columns disturbing “corporate religious representatives.” However, Marmara University didn’t make a statement on the “dismissal campaign” conducted against the university.
