The prosecutor’s office determined that an individual linked to the Uşak mayor had been hired by the Bornova Municipality and was receiving a salary without actually working. Technical investigations confirmed that public funds were misappropriated. Proceedings were initiated against the suspect, identified as A.A., and associated municipal officials on charges of aggravated fraud and forgery of official documents.
