The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office requested access restrictions for posts reporting on its own statement regarding the Paramount Hotel investigation. The Criminal Court of Peace ruled to block 710 pieces of content. Following the ruling, the chief prosecutor’s office announced that it was considering appealing the restrictions imposed at its own request. The process has reignited discussions about the scope and implementation of access restriction decisions.
