Sixteen students who are members of the Turkish Workers’ Party and protested the MESEM program at the Turkey Century Vocational and Technical Education Summit in Istanbul continued to be tried in custody on charges of “resisting to prevent the performance of duty” and “damaging property”; their appeals were rejected on the grounds of the evidence situation.
