The 15th hearing of the “Aziz İhsan Aktaş crime syndicate” case, in which 200 defendants, including 7 mayors from the Republican People’s Party (CHP), are being tried, was held on February 20, 2026, at the Istanbul 1st Heavy Penal Court. At the hearing, held in the hall opposite the Marmara Closed Prison, the defendants who were not in custody presented their defense and denied the charges. The court postponed the hearing until February 23, 2026, to complete the missing details.
