Summaries were prepared against 19 People’s Democratic Party (HDP) MPs by Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office due to “not reacting” against the speeches made by Co-Chair Pervin Buldan and Group Deputy Chair Fatma Kurtulan.
The speeches in question are Buldan’s speech during the event, “Crisis in the Middle East and Democratic Nation Resolution” organized at Demir Hotel in Sur district of Diyarbakır on October 27-28, 2018 as well as Fatma Kurtalan’s press statement to protest the detainments of more than 100 people during the Diyarbakır-based operation on October 9, 2018.
