Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office started an investigation for 22 people, who shared posts on social media on the military operation against Northern Syria. The police organised a raid against the home of JinNews reporter Beritan Canözer within the investigation. The police confiscated some magazines, photographs and newspapers and left the home, indicating that Canözer, who was absent at home, must testify at Diyarbakır Security Directorate. On the other hand, 11 people in Izmir and 21 people in Mardin were detained within social media operations started simultaneous with the military operation.
