Eight people detained in the Akdeniz and Tarsus districts of Mersin for protesting attacks on northern and eastern Syria were referred to court. The court ruled to arrest Muhammed Apaydın, Azad Yorgun, İsmail Temurtaş, Muhammed Özmen, Yusuf Çelik, and Enis on charges of “violating Law No. 2911 on Meetings and Demonstrations” and “resisting the police.” Barış Arslan and Yusuf Kaya were released on judicial control.
