Hamdullah Aydemir, who was receiving treatment for bladder cancer and had a 92 percent disability report, was arrested again on June 9 and sent to Erciş T-Type Prison on the grounds that the postponement of his sentence had expired. His family said Aydemir could not survive under prison conditions and that his treatment had been disrupted.
